Combining collage, book art, and mixed media play, this altered books workshop offers a creative journey guided by local artist and book lover, Lauren Smith of Flourish + Fern.
Each session will offer different prompts and guide you through favorite techniques to ignite your imagination and creativity. Using basic skills like cutting, gluing, inking, and painting we’ll breathe new creative life into old texts. By the end of the series, you'll view old books in a whole new light!
Materials are provided. Students encouraged to bring an old book of your choosing or any photos /memorabilia you may like to incorporate in your project.

Join us for a fun-filled evening of creativity for a Paint + Sip, hosted by local artist, Lauren Smith, of Flourish + Fern. Get ready to unleash your inner artist while you create and sip in a fun and relaxing environment!
Don’t worry if you've never painted before - this is meant to be meditative… and even empowering! Guidance and tips will be offered, including painting techniques and floral painting demos by Lauren.
Whether you come alone or with friends, it’s the perfect way to relax and unwind and have a great time. Price includes all necessary painting supplies and your own 8x10” canvas.
